Thanks for the video  Big Grin

OK, you should never flash in a overclocked state, you are only asking for issues doing that. I keep a stock clock defaults profile for flashing from, and several Over Clock profiles for different situations.

Try these steps....

1. Format the flash drive using FAT32 only.
2. Put the BIOS file in the root of the flash drive.
3. Try downloading the file one more time.
4. Set the bios to its defaults i.e NO OVER CLOCK.
5. Try flashing the "other" secondary bios chip instead.

I just downloaded both files from this thread and both flash perfectly fine. I now tried it three times and each time it flashes really nicely. I am using a 256MB Sandisk Cruzer Micro formatted to FAT32, and it never fails to flash (It is my dedicated BIOS flashing flash drive, lol). I never flash when Over Clocked though, never ever, as that can brick the BIOS chip your on or seriously damage some of the hardware components on the board.

Why Intel ICH10R SATA RAID Controller: v11.2.0.1527? Why not 14.0.0.2198?

Probably because all the tests show 11.2 to have the best performance on chipsets from Series 5 up to series 7.

Found this thread after looking for latest updates for my R3E. Not anything to be found on official ROG site. Want to upgrade to Windows 10. Anyone running it on a R3E and is there any issues?

Thanks to OP for the work done. Not something I would try in a million years. Busy downloading now.
