Hi all, i have a Foxcoon 2ABF 1.20 (H-CUPERTINO2_H61_µATX_1.02)
I want to upgarde my i5-2400 to an i7 Ivy Bridge
my bios chip is winbond 25Q32BVSIG 1128 (it's 4mb or 8mb i don't know)
what i understand is that the only solution is to change the bios chip ?

(btw pc have to beep 3 times before deciding to go to OS because it's a Legacy Bios and new graphics card are UEFI...
can't do something for gpu ?)

Good evening everyone.
First of all excuse me if I am not in the right place for my post and besides I do not speak English I use google translation.
I bought a HP PRO 3300 MT with inside a dual core G620 processor that I want to change to core I5.
According to my research, natively the HP PRO 3300 MT ships 2nd generation processors (Sandy Bridge). According to this article also (https://lecrabeinfo.net/history-and-evol...-core.html) motherboards supporting 2nd generation processors (Sandy Bridge) also support 3rd generation processors ( Ivy Bridge), so I recovered a 3rd generation I5-3570 core (Ivy Bridge) with a friend that I put in place of the dual but the computer does not display.
The version of my BIOS was 7.07. There are several BIOS files (7.16 / 8.05 / 8.06 / 8.09 / 8.12 / 8.13 / 8.14) on the HP website for my machine, the BIOS update has failed with the versions (8.05 / 8.06 / 8.09 / 8.12 / 8.13 / 8.14), but I was able to update only with version 7.16 and the problem persists.
Here are the errors of flash captures with versions (8.05 / 8.06 / 8.09 / 8.12 / 8.13 / 8.14)

I am not very good in maintenance but propose me solutions and if I have difficulties I make you a return.
Please help me because I want to take classes on virtualization.
Thank you all.

Post screenshots of first (CPU) & third (Mainboard) tabs of CPU-Z with supported CPU.

Here are the CPUZ captures:

I want to use a 3rd generation I5-3570 core processor (Ivy Bridge) instead of the dual core I currently have.

Your motherboard has 4MB BIOS chip.
Only BIOS chip replacement can help to add Ivy Bridge support. 8MB BIOS chip is needed.

OK. But the BIOS files I downloaded have a size of 3.7 MB so I did not think it was going to be a problem.
What do you recommend?.

It's packed size.
I recommend motherboard replacement or i7-2600(K)/2700K

Ok, thank you very much.
