Hi, everybody!
I have a friend with the same ASUS K40AB notebook, and it had a Radeon HD3200 integrated GPU, so it is possible to choose card in bios (or select the auto switch option).
But I don't have this option on my notebook!
)
There are two video chips on motherboard (one integrated HD3200 and discrete HD5470) but I don't see the choose option in bios, in contrast to my friend's notebook
)
Please have a look at this bios, maybe it is hidden option on my motherboard.
Or, otherwise, how can I check if the integrated chip is alive?
P.S. I've had a bad BIOS flash issue once, so notebook has been to service bios recovery, but that couldn't kill the GPU??
P.P.S. Everest shows C1E option of the CPU present, but not enabled in BIOS
please have a look if it is possible to unlock that option too.
Thanks in advance, Juffus
