Abit KN9 Ultra AM3 support Request
Now I have to disassemble the ACPITBLs to see what needs changing: Just to prove how much difficulty it would've been with getting phenom on the abit look at this:

DefinitionBlock ("DSDT.aml", "DSDT", 1, "NVIDIA", "AWRDACPI", 0x00001000)
{
Scope (\_PR)
{
Processor (\_PR.CPU0, 0x00, 0x00000000, 0x00) {}
Processor (\_PR.CPU1, 0x01, 0x00000000, 0x00) {}
}

Tthis is a definition from the ACPI of the abit showing dual core is the only support in the ACPI.

Now this BIOS also has a very high chance of failing all together, so only for people with spare chips!

I also want those who are able to test to confirm that the Gigabyte does not work.

No, it always showed blinking cursor.

Asus bios works the best, but it needs some things:

PCI slots are not working correctly.
Power SW and reset do not work, only when you turn power on.
Frontpanel leds don't work (who cares?)
Ps2 mouse do not work at all
Ps2 keyboard works but input lags

Teurastaja, did you clear CMOS after flashing the new BIOS. Because I got the same blinking cursor after flashing the ASUS-BIOS but was able to boot after clearing CMOS.

Very good catch both of you. The last image that you tested was me disassembling the ACPI tables of both boards to see what's different. hey are actually very similar, the only major difference was a bit of code for the PCI slotswhich hopefully will work even though there were a couple of notices on compilation.

Should we wait for an improved BIOS or further test the last one you made?
