Hello...I'm new here...Just wanted to ask, is this R01-B1 bios compatible with Veriton 6900Pro (G9657MA-8KS2H)?

I can confirm that the Veriton 6900 Pro has a completely different bios. The latest one available on the acer support site is R03-A4. Please post a separate thread if you would like us to look at this bios

Hi guys,
I know this post is now very, very old, but does anyone have a link to the R01-B1 modded BIOS?
I have an old Acer Veriton M261 (Windows XP) that I use for data recovery and conversion.
I want to install a 5¼" floppy drive, but when I set the A: drive in the BIOS from 3½" to 5¼" the BIOS reverts back to 3½"after saving the changes.
I'm hoping this modded BIOS may fix the issue.
Many thanks  Smile
