Owners of these chipsets have been plauged by this
according to kernel messages dmesg/journalctl it can be rectified with a BIOS update, ASUS do not want to know so you guys are our last hope, the latest stock BIOS is here and here is one of many crash logs

here's hoping one of you gurus can fix this once and for all
