Hello all,
I hope this message finds you well! I’m actually jealous on the ones who can mod an BIOS.
I’m reaching out because I’m facing an issue with my beloved Asus TUF Gaming A15 (FA507NVR - LP017W). Unfortunately, it’s suffered water damage and seems to be running less than optimally, especially without the battery. The CPU is currently only running at 0.4 GHz, as confirmed by the repair technician. Even when trying to install a new battery, it doesn’t seem to work, so I suspect the battery connection itself might also be damaged.
What I’m hoping for is if there’s anyone out there who might be able to help me mod the BIOS to make it think there’s a battery installed, so it can run at full performance once again. This would mean the world to me, and I’d be forever grateful for any help or guidance you can provide.
Sadly enough because I’m an new member of the forum I can’t upload an file. But this is the link to download the exe to extract the latest BIOS Update.
Thank you so much in advance! Your kindness would truly make a huge difference.
Best regards,
TuneZ
