Bios Unlock Asus EeePc 1001PXD
#1
Hi, I wanted to increase the amount of Vram to the GMA 3150 to 64 or 128 as it seems to use only 8 MB. Also making sure the frequency is set to 200 MHz.

Here is stock BIOS

I found BIOSes that should overclock the processor to 2 GHz, Here the 702 and here the 703 can someone see if they are fine?

And if they work can the GMA mod be added to them too?

Good evening,

I wonder if it's possible unlock the bios of this netbook, and if there is an application that would allow me to flash the eventually modded bios from Windows (both official or not from Asus).
Thanks in advance!

I finally unlocked the bios by myself, using AMIBCP 3.13, and here is the result.

.rom   1001PXD.rom (Size: 1 MB / Downloads: 53)

There is a setting which is now unlocked, that allow to overclock the FSB by 10% (final frequency 1833 MHz, like the N475) on SuperPerformance.
I tried the BIOS above, but:
1) the newer one is unavailable;
2) the older doesn't change anything (mine at least has that option).
Is there a way to tweak further the FSB? My idea is to be able to overclock under linux without using SetFSB.
