The problem is the following. Officially this laptop does not support the i7, although the chipset should support it. In the network there are examples of successful installation of the i7 processor in the same laptop model, but there are also examples of failed attempts - when the BIOS was missing microcode processor i7 and the laptop is not loaded. I want to play it safe so as to buy the right stone. Thank you

I know about TDP. But I don't really care, because this was not a problem for the successful installations of the processor 3610 and 3630. I only care about support from the BIOS.

Post a screenshot of third (Mainboard) tab of CPU-Z with supported CPU.
Tell sSpec of your i7-3632QM.
Try this algorithm:
1) remove AC jack, Main Battery, and CMOS Battery
2) remove HDD and all DIMMs
3) install new CPU
4) wait 10 mins
5) press and hold power button for 30 sec.
6) install CMOS Battery and one DIMM only, inject AC jack (without Main Battery!)
7) try to boot your laptop.
P.S. Did you checked your new CPU in other laptop?
