So I just picked up this compaq sr2170nx, it has all factory settings, looking to upgrade it some if possible. I realize that my ram is limited @ 2gb. I'm in the midst of obtaining another gig. Is there something or a few things I can do to increase the general productivity of the pc. Speed, ram etc...Can I increase the ram larger then 2 gb? Also is there a way to change the ram from ddr2 4200, to 5600? If so how would I go about that? Help in the matter is greatly appreciated! Thanks fellas.
