Is it possible to add AHCI to HP Pavilion TX2000 BIOS ?
Is it possible to add AHCI to HP BIOS ?

Hi, I have HP Pavilion TX2000z (GZ574AV) which I upgraided from Vista to Win7x64 pro.
It worked nice till I insert in SSD (Crucial / M4-CT128M4SSD2 / 128Gb)
The speed of random read is around 128 mB/sec. But it should be ~260 mB/sec

my BIOS version F.08

Thank you,
Nick

HI NICK ,

i have downloaded your bios and it has no ahci options .
it has options for sata like :-

sata spread sprectum , sata controller , NVRAID enable , SATA HOTPLUG .

i will search for inserting the AHCI module into your bios ( i need a bios for the same chipset ( or same motherboard ) and i will extract the AHCI module from it and insert it into your bios ) but this may take alot of time for searching .

i don`t knew if any of the hidden options will be useful in this or not .
also there isn`t any raid module in your bios and if raid unlocked , i guess it wouldn`t work .

i tried inserting raid modules in the bios by replacing it with pxe module but it seems to corrupt your bios as the ID is changed .
i think i will not be able to do this .
i`m sorry for that .
