Possible bypass RSA check?
#31
Are you sure you need SP55430?
Send link by PM,anyway here is again.

If reported working mods can upload in downloads sections as links may expire.

You have only Intel GPU,from factory,or by some hardware mod?
Post detailed info and PCID maybe will help others to identify how switching graphics works .

THANK YOU!!!

It worked. I now have much more control in the bios and am able to replace the WiFi card with one from Intel.

Sorry for the confusion. My Intel GPU is integrated on the CPU (Core i7-640M 2.8 GHz). I have no seperate ATI GPU on my mobo so I could not tell you anything about swiching :-( (I read some other users are interested in this).

It was really a basic HP G62 but by updating the CPU, memory (to 8GB), an SSD, Windows 10 and soon the WiFi it had become pretty fast for my standards.

I don't know how to add this bios to the download section. Tried to edit the page but I have no permissions. Is there someone else who can do this? This bios file is great work and should be saved...

I am trying to figure out if the newest version of PhoenixTool is still having issues you mentioned in this thread earlier or not?   I created a thread regarding some help and to figure out if the Wifi ID can be modified or not using PhoenixTool and WInHex.   Any help to answer that question would be greatly appreciated regarding the RSA/SHA1 check in pre SP6000.exe insyde bios.  My Checksums are different according to my Xeltek SPI programmer software.

Edited just a minute ago:

The tool is not the latest I found v2.73 will give it another try, would still appreciate an answer to if this can be done on my version F.34 or not?

Edited:

v2.73 made no difference Checksums are different and when I flash the modified Bios with the Xeltek SPI programmer I have a black screen and blinking Caps lock on boot.

Edited 4-20-2018

I found a thread from coderush explaining how to modify one of the modules to remove the security check and that worked perfectly now just working on removing the whitelist check for both the WIFI can BT combi card.

Hello Mario,
While I'm not able to mod your bios I just want to say that this thread was specific for the G62 bios (of the SP55430.exe series). Unless your device uses that bios, I think it's better to stick to the thread you mentioned you created for your bios. Hoping for the best for your bios Smile

That thread will most likely be ignored by people because it's HP Sad
