[REQUEST] Fujitsu XI1554 disable bios limit 2GB RAM
#1
Hi all,

Laptop Fujitsu XI1554 is set by the manufacturer in bios limit memory 2GB RAM. This laptop has Phoenix bios. Chipset this laptop Intel 945PM in hardware support 4GB RAM. Also Fujitsu XI1554 bios support NVIDIA and ATI graphics card. Currently I have in this laptop NVIDIA graphics card.

I found on the internet that laptop Fujitsu XI1554 is exactly the same Alienware m5750 and Alienware m5790. Alienware m5750 and m5790 in bios support 4GB RAM. Unfortunately Alienware m5750 and m5790 in bios support only ATI graphics card.

I have a request - could someone unlock in Fujitsu bios 4GB RAM support???

In Annex bios Fujitsu XI1554 and bios Alienware m5750/m5790.

In advance thanks very much for help

Hello Kezman,

I would like to offer you my assistance, but the arts of memory unlocking and memory remapping are beyond my current capabilities.

I will take a look at this BIOS image to see what kind of settings can be unlocked though.

Which of the two BIOS images is currently installed? I would be careful about flashing that Alienware one if you have not already done so.
