No matter how many times I enter the Lenovo BIOS hidden key combination, I cannot access the advanced menu. Entering a hidden key combination only adds a debugging menu. Can I unlock the advanced menu of this bios?

Hi! I'm looking for help with unlocking advanced setup options in InsydeH20 BIOS.

My laptop exact model: Lenovo Yoga 520-14IKB (Type 80X8)
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/produ...7A93E0428C

There is no many important settings (some boot opt./pci/sata/etc) and “Advanced” formset is hidden =(
I was looking to apply the “suppress-if patch” method, but this problem seems to require changing asm opcodes in some modules.

BIOS Versions:
V1.06 - factory version
V2.12 - last updated version
It would be great if it is possible to modify last version.

About included in .zip images/binaries:
4qcn36ww.exe - V1.06 official Lenovo exe package
4qcn51ww.exe - V2.12 official Lenovo exe package
CIUSA106.ROM.FD - V1.06 extracted from .exe FD image
CIUSA215.ROM.FD - V2.12 extracted from .exe FD image
yoga520-14ikb-80X8.4qcn51ww.CIUSA215.fullbackup - current backup image of my BIOS V2.12

Link to .zip with binaries and photos of my current setup menus :
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1...sp=sharing

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi

Hi. I don't have it at the moment, but I can get it and apply it if needed. I understand and accept the risk of having to solder and flash the BIOS with the programmer in case of an unsuccessful flash

Your bios is rewrite protected
Bios mod can be flashed using SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip only
P.S. it is safe
