I have an OLD XC100 mobo here, im using it to just run a small file server.
Its very slow, yes, but more importantly, the bios is extremely limited, it has no memory options at all, very limited CPU options and limited in all other areas. Its in a .CAP file though, and i cant find a walkthrough/guide to open it, make the modifications, and then put it back into a CAP file i can flash. If anyone is bored, can you look at the file and tell me if there are even options TO unlock, and how its possible. I was able to extract the cap file to a folder full of .ROM and .BIOS files, and thats where i stopped, as i couldn't find anything to open these, and then even if i could, i dont know how to convert it back to a .CAP file to reflash it.
Thanks for anyone who knows more about this, i am just curious to see if i can wring some more performance out of this little board, just for the pure exercise of it. I can't attach the file, but its linked here. https://drivers.softpedia.com/get/BIOS/A...11B3.shtml
