[Request] Biostar x470gtn bios unlock
#1
Hi,
I was hoping someone could help me unlock the Biostar x470gtn bios version X47AK807.BSS, to display further RAM overclock settings. As some I need to change are currently not available such as CAD_BUS Timings, DRAM R1-R4 Tune, Super I/O Clock Skew, Spread spectrum Enable/Disable etc.
Thanks

Can you see AMD CBS Menu at all?

No, and I've gone through every menu. Unless it's called something else, but I'm 95% sure it isn't in there at all.

Now that's extra bold Big Grin

Please wait, I am working on it, will have sorted for you soon just need to confirm something first with a friend about PBS menu and then I can send you BIOS with CBS and PBS Menus enabled.

While we wait, please add a zip of images of your BIOS O.N.E. Page (Main, so I can see all visible options there so I don't miss enabling anything hidden from you now) and then dram timing config, MCT config, and vivid LED Control pages inside O.N.E. subsections

Okay I have attached screenshots. I couldn't find the MCT config page however, unless it's called something else?  Undecided

I've also added an additional attachment of all the sub menu settings included in this message. There are quite a lot of pictures in this one, unfortunately I don't know what any of these settings do. But they might be of some use to you. Thanks

Thanks for all the images, I will check it all out for you. If you can't see MCT page, then the entire page is hidden from you probably. This only has four settings, but for memory overclocking they are important to some for performance and since you were asking about memory related settings I assumed you'd probably want these too (Bank interleaving, channel interleaving I think those two are important, and then memory hole remapping and power down enable). That's is why I asked before posting a BIOS for you, wanted to be sure to get it for you all at once Big Grin

Will edit in BIOS for you soon, to this post probably in a hour or two as soon as I get things going here.

It looks like you may already have some of the options you mentioned, within CBS menu
DDR4 common options (not shown in your images) CAD setting you mention is there (entire section of settings in a CAD sub menu)
DRAM R1-R4 Tune - I can't find this in any CBS/PBS settings even hidden (Maybe another name on your board?),
Super I/O, nothing to enable/disable/change there
Spread Spectrum, I cannot find to enable or disable, or make visible for you, sorry.

Chipset SB not shown in your images either, do you have that?

I have BIOS ready for you with unlocked CBS menus, but it may be same as all you already have for many of the CBS options, I don't have time to dig through all the settings I enabled vs what you have already. Do you want this BIOS? I have enabled and few other settings and sections for you too in this BIOS.

Yes please I would like the bios. Thank you for putting in the time. I'll check it out and let you know how it goes once I have it.  Smile
