hello everyone,
recently i bought a second hand Acer aspire one 722, fun little device. And after having it upgraded to 8gb of ram and a SSD this thing flies!
But unfortunately for me that wasn't enough, I want to run a virtual machine on it. But to my dismay i figured that Acer has AMD-V disabled and the video memory was locked to 256 mb of VRAM in the BIOS.
Luckily on this forum I found.. what i think is a unlocked bios for this system but i am not sure. the BIOS version is 1.04 and on this laptop is 1.08 installed.
Would it be a wise decision to flash this unlocked bios to the system? since I am hoping it won't break compatibility with the RAM and upcoming Windows 10 installation. (and of course if it unlocks at least the AMD-V option)
thanks for answering!
