Hello!
I need to enable AHCI in a laptop asus F3JR, opiton should be found under Advanced-IDE Configuration-SATA Operatioon Mode, but there is no "IDE Configuration" at all. So far I've changed everything - upgraded and downgraded firmware to every versions available, cleared CMOS by battery remove, no luck.
I found a similar request in this thread:

but first of all it is for another model (F3Jp), second - changed firmware was not confirmed to solve the problem.
So my questions are:
1. Can you mod the F3JR firmware attached?
2. Or can I flash Firmware of F3Jp into my F3JR (hardware is very-very similar).
3. Can you give me any idea why does the BIOS option disappeared?
