Hi there!
I few days ago, to try to see if Windows 8 would run on my system, I contact a Windows Service Representative who told me to check my system should properly update the BIOS of my laptop.
My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6005 part number PSAT6U. Download the file that applies to my model and BIOS from downloader center of Toshiba. I made a bootable CD to boot from the CD, boot my system and power was shut down before the end spontaneously.
While then the BIOS boot, since then I notice that my system is shut down spontaneously. Check the temperature and show 89 degrees celsius but doesn't feel to touch, which means you can be the corrupted BIOS update.
It happens now afraid to update the BIOS again not the process is completed and off suddenly.
I need to know what to do, if I risk not to start if the update goes wrong and I need to know how to recover the system in the event of crisis.
Sorry my bad english.
