Gateway NV53 InsydeBIOS 2.14 Whitelist Removal

I have a Gateway NV53a and currently upgraded the BIOS to the most recent version on the support site 2.14

I purchased an Intel AC-7260 but after installing, it stalls and won't boot.
I only see a flashing underscore until I remove the card and then it boots.
Although when I stick it back in Windows only finds Bluetooth but no Wireless Card.
I suspect a Whitelist. If this could be removed that would be great, I am testing AC wireless for work purposes.
