[Request] Intel Classmate / Magalhães

Hi.

I've been given a Magalhães netbook, basically a clone of Intel's 2nd version of Classmate PC. I'm thinking of replacing the original wireless b/g card (USB\VID_0DB0&PID_6877, Mini-PCIe MS-8677) with a wireless b/g/n + bluetooth 3.0 combo (probably Intel, Atheros or Broadcomm from ebay). Does this BIOS have a whitelist? Will I be able to use FN+F1 to enable/disable the card like with the original, or can the BIOS be modded to allow it?

The following link contains 3 BIOS files: MG1ASLIC.ROM (modded with SLIC), MG1ABAK.ROM (from backup) and MG1ANET.ROM (from internet). The last 2 have different CRCs but they're probably the same BIOS.
