Hi all,
I've got an old HP Compaq 8510w with a Nvidia Quadro FX 570m. The graphics card recently died, so I consider replacing and upgrading it. I was thinking about a Quadro FX 770m, for example (just because I can probably get a cheap one). I know that the bios of the 8510w doesn't accept other Graphics cards to be installed, but is there a possibility to mod this so it does accept other cards? Is it only a white-list thing or is there more that has to be modded?
