Keep getting same error. AMIBCP

I want to edit the BIOS for my Acer Aspire 5750G and when I use AMIBCP it keeps having the error of "Couldn't open the file!" I have downloaded the latest bios, the latest AMIBCP and am confused. I really want to change this and I would be really thankful if someone could help me change this. I am trying to change the dedicated graphics memory and have seen it be done form 128mb to 512mb. I know I should get a new PC but I am doing that soon however I still want to do some stuff on my laptop which requires the 512mb. (I'm a gamer and want to play some games and have it bearable, plus I cant exactly take my pc everywhere can I?)
