Thank you very much!! It worked perfectly!! The only thing is I change a setting and when I turn off the laptop, the keyboard/lights light up except the screen stays black. I think I bricked my laptop since it doesnt even show the BIOS screen. I'm going to see if I can recover from it
Thanks again!
Here is your Recovery File :
http://rghost.net/56637296
Use this Procedure :
- Performing the emergency flash:
- Shutdown the netbook (notebook)
- Remove all peripheral devices
- Remove battery, Remove AC power cord
- Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds (battery and AC power still out), then release
- Put the USB Memory Stick in the USB port
- Hold "Fn" + "Esc" and plug the AC power cord in
- Now press the power button (whilst still holding Fn + Esc).
Wait until the fan will run, then release "Fn" + "Esc" keys
- The fan will run for about 2-10 minutes and the USB drive activity LED will blink
- I think the netbook rebooted automatically. If it doesn't, unplug the AC power cord once the fan has turned off
The bios should be updated with the modified BIOS, and boot as per normal.

Thank you so much for all your help!
For some reason my laptop is not reading from my USB at all, the led on the USB drive does not blink. I tried all USB ports and also put in an SD card into the SD card slot that's built into my laptop but the laptop just keeps spinning the fan fast and does not turn off (not even after 40 minutes)
How should the flash drive be formatted and should it be bootable?
Fat32, don't need tp be bootable !
I think your laptop is Bricked I am sorry

That is totally fine! I got my laptop repaired free from Acer! I was wondering if you can help me mod my BIOS again?
The only thing is, the BIOS that they updated my laptop is a newer BIOS than what is on the Acer.com website for my laptop. The BIOS installed now is not even on the website! :| I hope we can still mod this BIOS!
