hello, and nice to meet you all. I'm new here and I am trying to figure out if what I need is possible to do or not.
I have an old asus P5GD1 PRO motherboard with some problems.
battery clock doesn't work, usb on-board doesn't work and audio on-board doesn't work.
the only way to make that computer run is disable USB support and audio onboard from bios (no jumpers available).
after a restart, everything works fine until you unplug the power cord. from that moment you have to reset everything from bios.
is there a way to replace the bios with a custom made one with those options already setup? in this way, even after a power shortage, it would be enough to set up the clock.
the person using this pc don't need to upgrade to a newer system, because it would mean change mb, cpu and ram, and this pc is more than enough for him.
thank you for your help
