Defaults for Gigabyte P55A-UD3

Hi, is it hard to change some default settings in a bios? I would like to have AHCI mode be the new default if the cmos battery dies or user resets to defaults. This motherboard has two SATA controllers ( PCH SATA and GSATA. See attached picture) and it be preferred if both were changed.
