i'm running a program that has a min system requierment of dual core 1.8Ghz; the computer is only a 1.8Ghz monocore... what's it doing to my machine ?

the board is an mcp61pm-am and the cpu is an amd sempron 3200+

now i can theorise why i can push my machine like that; but what are the ill effects on the CPU and MB ?
