This time I have the following laptop to "hack" the whitelist: HP Envy 17-3030ew, year 2012 - still whitelisting was used (newest laptops from HP start to have no whitelisinig anymore)
Bios download link from manufacturer site:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp60501-61000/sp60634.exe (newest)
Older:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56001-56500/sp56416.exe
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp59501-60000/sp59845.exe
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56001-56500/sp56028.exe
Insyde for sure, seems to be encrypted.
- PCI ID of the Wifi/WWAN card that originally came with the laptop.
Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300 AGN
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4238&SUBSYS_11118086&REV_3E
What I want to install is Intel 7260. So Far I have tried to install in in place of HP Wireless Audio module, but there seems to be only USB interface available in this port.
I am prepared for emergency flash and I have checked it works for me.
