Hi all,
Can I request for an unlocked bios for GL552VX?
I need it because my m2 ssd is not recognized. currently the BIOS version is 303

Hello, ASUS GL552VX have 2 variants.
GL552VXK motherboard/model which is different from the GL552VX motherboard although ASUS calls both the GL552VX model, but they use different motherboards and bios files.
If your laptop model is GL552VX (Skylake CPU), then you can use M.2 SSD 2280 SATA only.
If your laptop model is GL552VXK (Kaby Lake CPU), then you can use  M.2 SSD 2280 PCIe.
You can just check your bios model and version as mentioned in the FAQ below, it should be good enough to confirm if you really have the GL552VXK model or not.
