Bios mod can be flashed using SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip only

The BIOS doesn't really control the CPU anymore once you boot into Windows. The CPUs in this laptop generally cannot be overclocked but you can make some changes with ThrottleStop such as enabling SpeedShift or increasing the TDP limit. A more common scenario though is to undervolt the CPU and overclock the GPU as this is usually the bottleneck.
