I am new here, can anyone tell me if it is possible to reset the BIOS supervisor password by reflashing with modification to the BIOS image files?
I know there is jumper cap shorting pin 2-3 to get into configuration/maintenance page for reset. But I don't know why my motherboard halts at Intel Logo page and cannot access the maintenance page for password reset.
By removing the jumper cap, I can upgrade and downgrade the BIOS version. The password is persistent and still here even CMOS battery removal.
I have dumped the two chips (8M and 4M) image into files using the external EEPROM programmer (CH341A). Just wonder if anyone can help to remove the supervisor password. I can upload the two image files if necessary.
Thanks.
