Gigabyte GA-Z77P-D3 flashable BIOS file
#1
Hi awesome people,

Both my Main and Backup BIOS on my Gigabyte GA-Z77P-D3 got corrupted. I would like to attempt a BIOS reflash using the CH341A USB BIOS flasher but I can only download the .exe BIOS file from Gigabyte's website. Can someone please provide me with a compatible/converted flashable BIOS files from the Gigabyte BIOS files attached/linked below?

This is the beta BIOS (F8e) link: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/B...d3_f8e.exe

And this is the Stable BIOS (F7) link: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/B...-d3_f7.exe

Thank you!!!

Attached Files
.zip   mb_bios_ga-z77p-d3_f8e.zip (Size: 3.5 MB / Downloads: 4)
.zip   mb_bios_ga-z77p-d3_f7.zip (Size: 3.61 MB / Downloads: 1)

Really?
You didn't even TRY tu unzip the exe?
The first method:
you could doubleclick the exe, it is only a self extracting archive.
It will ask you WHERE to save the extracted files (incl. the BIOS binary file).

The second method:
you could rightclick the exe and choose to extract the archive.
OK, you should at least have installed a tool like WinZIP, WinRAR, 7zip or any other archiving tool.
But if you don't have any of those tools installed,
then I have to ask you if you REALLY want to do a BIOS update,
if you don't even know such BASIC KNOWLEDGE.

But OK, you have to flash the *.f7 or *.f8e file (inside that archive).
You can flash that file as is, you don't have to convert anything.
I flash that on my work every day.
But be careful, the programmer is a 5V ONLY programmer, the SOP on the Gigabyte are 1,8V.
