Hello to all board members, this is my request for a BIOS hack for the Lenovo laptop BIOS that covers the following models: IdeaPad S145-14IWL, S145-15IWL, V14-IWL, V15-IWL as they use a common file from Lenovo.
Download (Windows 10 x64) of version ASCN48WW = https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mob...cn48ww.exe
First of all, I would like to kindly request a Wireless unlock for being able to use other WLAN cards. For some reason, despite having purchased a Lenovo-part Broadcom BCM4350 card (NGFF) [14e4:43a3] (DW1820A) (Lenovo FRU reference 00JT494) that was seemingly accepted with a previous BIOS version few months ago, after doing yesterday a "Load Optimised Defaults" with this latest BIOS, it seems the card is blacklisted; not in Windows 10 nor in macOS can I enable it. The BIOS mentioned here was updated in July...
Moreover, I would like to request to be able to either access the hidden Advanced BIOS settings so I can unlock the CPU MSR 0xE2 register, or unlock the CPU via some BIOS settings hack on the BIOS file itself.
I had found that on some other Lenovo model there's supposed to be a hidden keyboard sequence that would allow access to this secret hidden BIOS menu but it is not working on this Lenovo S145-14iWL of mine: https://github.com/daliansky/Lenovo-Air1.../ReadMe.md
I would enormously appreciate if a kind experienced soul could unpack the Lenovo BIOS update executable, and possibly disable the whitelisting as well as enabling permanently the BIOS advanced pages.
Thank you in advance. Stay safe.
