I have a Lenovo K430 Desktop, I want to install a newer GPU but the system seems to be locked to 6xx series Nvidia GPUs (some people on the internet managed to get a 760 running AFAIK) and i want to install a gtx 960 2GB from PNY.
The system has no bios updates available on the website so the first order of business I think is to dump the bios file from windows in some ways (this is my first question).
The second thing to do is probably similar to how you bypass the GPU lock on the Lenovo M91P desktop, by modifying the bios with AMI bios configuration tool or changing the GPU ID, I'm referring to this particular one because I've done it before (I buy a lot of old office Pcs and resell them with GPUs as gaming ones)
I will be getting the pc in a few days, If anybody can provide me with instructions on how to dump the bios file I will upload it here.
I've seen a lot of people with the same issue as mine all over the internet from Lenovo's own forum to Reddit but nobody posted it here or figured out a solution, if we manage to do this I will also do my best to spread the solution to these people.
This is the PC

And this is the thread about the similar issue on Lenovo M91P desktop
