Hi,
TD/DR -> Can I update BIOS to add GOP to make my mobo (Asus P8Z68-V pro gen3) to work with an EFI GPU (RTX3060)?
I have basic knowlege of Bios. Based on my research, I think that the P8Z68 does not fully support EFI GPU. I think that this has to do with GOP divers/support on my motherboard's bios. I've come across a post that explain the UEFI was not fully implemented on this motherboard, only partially. I tried a few modded bios, mostly for UEFI NVMe support, but without luck.
Is this something that can be done "easly"? I've search, but never come a case where someone added EFI GPU support to the bios.
Am I missing something else in my understanding?
Mobo : Asus P8Z68-V pro gen3
GPU : Asus RTX 3060 TUF
CPU : Intel i7-2600 (and Intel i3-2021 for testing purpose)
Thanks!
