The textbox is gone when I do a proper reply, so I'm stuck with quick-reply (editing with chrome web tools, let me type up but not reply)
Anywho, I would also like to unlock my 7i-15ITL5 advanced options, specifically interested in setting the Thunderbolt security. By default Lenovo decided that fully open SL0 is good enough for consumers and do not support giving security options on this model (even though it ships with Win10 Pro, which implies it should be a biz product). This and conflicts with the Intel SST Audio controller cause all sorts of issues with class compliant devices for me (blue screens on my thunderbolt audio card, vr headset doesn't work for some games, midi devices are not fully recognized, strange audio hardware issues, etc). My only recourse is hacking things, or using devcon scripts / hwid blocking via gpo (debatably hacking things too),
Here is my UEFI:
https://file.io/JAaeCAw9hjYz , dumped with H2OFFT-W.exe, but I'd like to learn too so please link any tools or processes so I can get more involved. If the uefi unlock cannot permit me to set SL1, please recommend options.
Tempted to go this route (or thunderspy) if all else fails:
