HP Microserver Gen8

I got a microserver gen8, what i understand it has a limit of 8gb ddr3 on each dimm socket.
Problem is that server only have 2 dimm slots and i will be limited to 16gb of ram. do you think it will be posibly to unlock bios to support 16gb memory stick to get 32gb total?

It is not a software restriction. Intel C204 chipset may only be able to support 8GB per socket.
