Hello guys,
I am new at this forum.
I tried to remove the whitelist from my BIOS (9ACN26WW) so that I can use my Intel wireless card with my Lenovo G50-70 notebook.
I did something wrong, so the notebook didn't start up after I flashed the bios with fptw64.exe.
I ordered a CH341A USB programmer.
Luckily I backed up my BIOS with Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit. So I refreshed it with the usb programmer named above using AsProgrammer.
But it stillt didn't boot up. So I was sure the problem was my BIOS backup.
I downloaded a BIOS rom file for BIOS 9ACN26WW from alisaler.com and voila!
My laptop was booting up but in BIOS but it doesn't show up my serial number, product name and UUID number. So I think that there is no serial number etc. inserted in the BIOS rom.
I tried to insert those with Lenovo Thinkpad Maintenance Disk but it didn't work.
I also used a EFI shell tool called "dmi editor for insyde h2o bios" but still no success.
Does somebody know how to insert those numbers into the BIOS or into the BIOS rom?
Thank your very much for your help.
