Hi,
Sorry if this is not the subforum I have to post but I didn't find any related topic.
As the title says, after a bios update my touchpad stopped working.
Things I tried and don't work:
- Backflashing the bios to several old versions
- Tried with different Operating Systems when I still thought it was a Windows issue (Hackintosh with Catalina installed and Linux Parrot)
- YES I checked if it was disabled by keys (it's not)
- Tried several drivers but it's not possible to detect the touchpad.
- Performed BIOS resets (Physically disassembling the laptop, and inside the BIOS)
It's like the touchpad for some reason doesn't exist anymore.
My Q's:
Is there a way to reprogram the BIOS to get the touchpad working again?
Does anyone have a modded bios for this laptop?
It's really getting me crazy now, I tried everything I could without success, the lenovo forums are plagued with this kind of threads without solution.
Thank you,
Regards.
