hello, i don't know if anyone on this forum dibs into vbios moding but i have a strange problem i wouldn't have if i wasn't bored at work.
basically there exists a specyfic amd gpu core which was used in 3 "generations" of amd gaming lineup and 1 or 2 generations of pro gpus
the memory interface is the same , only the amount of vram chahges
gaming gpu's got 1 or 2 gb in 128bit format always in 4 chips
pro gpu's got 4gb in 128bit bus some in 4 some in 8 chips format
and i just want to make an unicorn, gaming gpu with 4 gb in 4 chips
sadly for me memory config is all writen in atom bios scripting language and i can't read that without manual how, and i can't google how to read that
i have bread crumbs but i simply don't know how to connect the dots
revision 2:01 vram info from oland core 256x32bit 4gb 128 bit bus with my hynix cips
revision 2:01 vram info from oland core 256x32bit 2gb 64 bit bus with my hynix cips
revision 2:01 vram info from bonaire core 256x32bit 4gb 128 bit bus with samsung cips and patch is slightly longer
revision 2:01 vram info from bonaire core 128x32bit 2gb 128 bit bus with any cips i want , patch being identical length for single memory type or longer for multiple
revision 2:01 vram info from bonaire core 64x32bit 1gb 128 bit bus with any cips i want , patch being identical length for single memory type or longer for multiple
revision 2:01 vram info from bonaire core 64x32bit 1gb 128 bit bus with original elpida chips for testing
revision 2:01 vram info from oland core 64x32bit 1gb 128 bit bus with identical elpida chips for testing
i just can't figure out how to read data from it other than memory name
if someone could point me into right direction
