The proccessor will definitely work in any mobo that has certified Virtualization support. I am working on a project right now that involves adding new award bios options that aren't there yet, so I'm thinking this might be a good board to play around with. Meanwhile, I think you and I should look at other "donor" boards with same specs, because as you can see with the Nettle2 project (check blog) it has been working well for a LOT of people.
