Link to bios: https://drivers.eu/Notebooks/HP/Pavilion+g6-1252ss/BIOS
Model: HP pavilion g6-1252ss
BIOS Version: Insyde F.6A
RSA Signed: Yes
WiFi Card: Realtek RTL8188CE 802.11bgn WiFi Adapter
Original PCI ID: VEN_10EC&DEV_8176&SUBSYS_1629103C&REV_01
There are three .bin files after extracting the .exe, the one that's for my model is the file named 03564F6A.bin
I've tried the general method from the important threads without success. When i try to reflash the bios, it says the image is corrupted.
In case it's really not possible to remove the whitelist on this bios, i'm open to do an ID swap instead. I was thinking of upgrading to an Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 card. I already have the card as i bought it a few months ago for another laptop so i can test if it would work before buying it for this HP. (I tried to get the PCI ID installing the card after turning it on but i didn't see it in device manager. Maybe i'm supposed to install it before it boots into windows?).
Any help is appreciated. I've spent several days trying to do this on my own but i'm kinda giving up.
Thank you!
