hello good day.
i have a asus Maximus X Code here.(and also a Maximux X hero. they are pretty much the same board)
and it has a rather annoying issue that extends to all of ASUS's boards.
all the fans will be forced to 100% at 75C cpu temps. which is easily reached when overclocking. and extremely limits your ability to make detailed fan profiles.
you cannot change this behaviour unless you point the fan headers to watch a unrelated sensor instead. but this is a unwanted hacky work around which also has plenty of other downsides to it
can this be fixed with a bios mod?
i have used this bios editor on github before for some unrelated modifications.
but my experience lack's to achieve what i need for this specifically
i've attached the bios update file that is obtainable from the ASUS support page.
ROG-MAXIMUS-X-CODE-ASUS-2701.zip (Size: 10.44 MB / Downloads: 0)
if a direct bios dump is needed please let me know!
thank you in advance for your help!
