Hello,
Last week my ideapad flex 5 went through update and it rebooted asking Bit Locker key. After entering key it rebooted again with BIOS error and went through auto recovery. It was successful but laptop stopped booting with litup screen. Will not get into BIOS either. So I performed Fn+R method with bios file from lenovo website. Laptop recovered from the problem. Now laptop boots and load OS just fine but its missing all the info from BIOS. No UUID, SN or product number. Other issue I started having is with thunderbolt. Can't use thunderbolt dock anymore. Its missing from device manager too. My guess is because its missing UUID and SN causing this problem. So is there way to inject UUID and SN without modifying BIOS?
I did follow the thread @
https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/showthre...?tid=38346
but getting errors.
" Not Binarry data. Error reported. Unsupported"
Please help
thanks
