They have very few settings in them so that they are easier to support.
I have a pegatron truckee motherboard. So I suppose it is not possible to crack the bios on this board then. I tried the programs "clockgen" but there is no support there either. Do you have any other ideas how overclock the CPU for this motherboard/bios?
I'd be interested to find out the answer to this question, if it was answered. I have the HP Pavilion Elite HPE-180t and the BIOS is v5.29, which supports the i7-990X and is the last version HP released; it supports minimal overclocking using just the CPU multiipliers. I have been successful in overclocking it from 3.46GHz to 3.99GHz using the multipliers for the six cores. However, no other tools are available (voltage adjustments, etc.). So I wonder if it's possible on my HP.
