I have an older atom N270 system with AMI BIOS version 08.00.15, and i'm trying to change the OEM logo. I can successfully export the OEM logo to BMP in MMTOOL, but when i replace the logo, i get a black screen before the system boots.
I noticed the original bios logo is around 78.9KB. however, whenever i make a BMP, or even slightly modify the OEM logo, the file size jumps to 468KB, and i get a black screen where the logo should be. what am i doing wrong here?
Is there a special way i have to save the images?
Gonna attach the bios file and the OEM logo.
BIOS file is in .rom as thats what afudos gave me when i dumped it.
I'd upload the image i want to use, but don't know if nsfw content is allowed, so if someone could assist in telling me how to convert the images, that would be great.
Tools used:
MMTOOL 3.22
AFUDOS.exe
GIMP 2.10 (image editing)
