Acer aspire 5742G bios write protection

I need to write protect my 5742G bios. I originally though I'd only need to wire the wp pin on the chip, but people told me that there needs to be some software mod too? I would also like as much of the intel me code removed as possible, while still keeping the core functionality of the laptop, of course. Also would like a option to enable the HAP bit in bios. Oh, and if it's not too much work, I'd like a bios unlock, as I love playing with bios options. Thanks. I have attached a full bios dump. I don't really know where to post this, so sorry if this isn't the right place.
