I have a Quanta T22HF server that came with a rather stripped down BIOS that only supports Epyc Naples (1st gen) CPUs
These are cheap units being scrapped from some datacentre, and would be ideal for homelab use and the like.
I would like to add 2nd and ideally 3rd gen Epyc support to this server.
I have a copy of the current BIOS and a far less stripped down one that was provided by the manufacture that should add Milan (2nd gen) support. But the board will not post if flashed with that file.
Here's a link with those BIOS files and what little else the manufacture would provide:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1...i3YYaXPmyn
All the hardware is the same between these CPU generations, and there is no chipset.
The original BIOS file is 16MB and as I said only supports 1st gen.
Epyc BIOS files that support 2 generations are 32MB and appear to be mostly two almost separate files in the same chip.
So Ideally I would like a BIOS that supports 1st and 2nd gen and another that supports 2nd and 3rd gen.
Thank you in advance.
