How can I tell if my Bios chip is pinned or saudered to my board?

How do I tell if my bios chip is saudered or pinned to my motherboard?

Any comments suggestions greatly appreciated.

If you can post a picture of your motherboard I can easily identify it for you. Normally it it is removable, there is a "socket" you can see the chip cushioned into.
