how do you adjust CPU Smart Fan manual settings?

I have the mcp61sm-am (acer t180) mobo with the unlocked nettle 2 bios working flawlessly with a athlon 64 x2 6000+ (125w version).

cpu smart fan can be set to [manual], allowing for these options:
fan Low PWM [0-127]
fan temp of low PWM (*C) [0-127]
fan slope (PWM/*C) [0-15]
smart fan delta T [0-31]

*C= degrees celsius

HOW DO I SET THESE? yes I know setting it to disabled runs fans at constant high speed (but never full speed, more like 75%), and auto will run various speeds according to temp. but, mine runs like 10 degrees hotter than I'd like when on auto, and is just annoying when set to disabled.
disabled runs my fan at 3600rpms at all times, it's a 5krpm fan, idles around 40*C, low load around 45*C, high load around 58*C.
auto keeps the temp almost a dead even 53*C no matter what the load.

I want to manually adjust these settings so I can attempt to maintain around 45*C, but have no clue how to do so. HELP!

(if someone tells me to plug it to psu imma smack you, I like a lil peace and quiet when I'm not cranking cpu usage)
